AI Integration & Classroom Innovation

We help educators and education partners integrate AI and emerging technologies in ways that strengthen learning, preserve student thinking, and support responsible use across subject areas.

What We Do

STAC helps schools, districts, and education partners integrate AI and emerging technologies in ways that strengthen learning without replacing student thinking. Our modular approach allows partners to engage in targeted support or build a coherent program for responsible AI implementation. Educators learn to use AI purposefully to support reasoning, critique, and evidence-based decision-making. Teams design AI-resilient tasks and routines that reveal student reasoning and preserve productive struggle. We help build AI literacy as Thinking Literacy across subject areas, not just tool training. Leaders gain support aligning innovation with instruction, curriculum, assessment, and system goals for lasting impact.

How We’re Different

“Innovation matters most when it makes reasoning more visible.”

“AI literacy is not tool fluency. It is the ability to think critically within a discipline.”

“Purposeful technology use preserves the productive struggle that learning requires.”

“New technologies belong in classrooms only when they deepen learning.”

At STAC, we don’t just introduce new technologies. We help educators make instructional decisions that protect learning, strengthen Thinking Literacy, and keep students responsible for reasoning.

1. Learning First, Technology Second

We start with what meaningful learning requires, then determine how AI can support learning without doing the reasoning students need to develop.

2. AI Literacy as Thinking Literacy

We help educators build students’ ability to question, evaluate, and refine AI-generated information using evidence, reasoning, and knowledge from the subject they are studying.

3. Designing for Productive Struggle

We support educators in using AI in ways that preserve productive struggle, so students remain responsible for explaining, justifying, revising, and making sense of ideas.

4. Building AI-Resilient Classroom Culture

We help educators build routines and norms that teach students to question AI outputs, explain their reasoning, use evidence, and remain responsible for the thinking work of learning.

5. Innovation Aligned to Systems

We connect AI integration to instruction, curriculum, assessment, and system goals so innovation is coherent, sustainable, and connected to learning.

What Partners Experience

Organizations that partner with STAC build more purposeful, coherent approaches to AI and emerging technologies across classrooms and systems:

  • Stronger alignment among innovation, instruction, curriculum, assessment, and learning goals
  • Greater clarity about how AI can support reasoning without replacing it
  • More frequent use of tasks and routines that reveal student thinking
  • Increased educator confidence using AI and emerging tools with purpose
  • More sustainable implementation across university, districts, and learning systems

Bring Purpose to AI and Classroom Innovation

New technologies can reshape learning, but only when they are grounded in strong instruction, thoughtful implementation, and clear learning goals. Build a plan that aligns AI innovation with curriculum, assessment, accessibility, and Thinking Literacy.

Let’s build an approach to AI innovation that strengthens learning, protects student reasoning, and supports meaningful change.
